Job Description Senior IT Cloud Engineer for thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. in Southfield, Michigan. 10% travel both domestic and international.

Duties include:

design, deploy, maintain, and improve cloud-based IT solutions, and lead cloud initiatives while mentoring junior engineers; design, implement and maintain Cloud-based solutions including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS); manage and monitor Cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and security; participate in strategic planning, such as developing new cloud strategies and roadmaps; act as infrastructure engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration new cloud-based solutions; ensure systems accesses are compliant within company security standards; create, catalog, and maintain technical documentation; diagnose and troubleshoot access related problems and drive platform improvements; support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management; research industry trends and emerging Cloud technologies, share knowledge with the team, and make recommendations to improve cloud infrastructure; and serve as technical lead on projects. Req's:

4 years of work experience in a Windows, Network, or System Administration, Network Engineering, Azure or AWS Cloud Services position; in lieu of 4 years of work experience, will accept Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field of study, or equivalent foreign degree +2 years of work experience in a Windows, Network, or System Administration, Network Engineering, Azure or AWS Cloud Services position. Must have 2 years of work experience with each of the following: configuring and maintaining switches, routers, and firewalls; and configuring and managing wireless networks.

Salary Range:

One hundred forty seven thousand five hundred ninety seven to one hundred fifty seven thousand dollars per year.
