Service Desk Analyst Location:
Columbus, OH Work Schedule:
Hybrid (Onsite every 3rd day at 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH)
Interview Process:
Initial 15-minute Teams interview followed by a mandatory in-person interview at the Shipley Building, 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH Position Overview Seeking a Service Desk resource to manage IT Asset Inventory and provide support for IT operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for inventory management, equipment processing, asset tracking, and serving as backup support for Level 1 operations. Responsibilities Process all equipment entering or leaving the IT department. Update and maintain the Asset Inventory System. Process salvage equipment, including hard drive removal and completion of the salvage process. Unpack and pack equipment for shipment to ACF and other DPS locations. Pick up and deliver equipment from DIS, Excel, DTS, and other designated locations. Complete ServiceNow tickets related to equipment requests, including monitors, keyboards, mice, HDMI cables, and other peripherals. Reconcile paper and electronic inventory records daily. Validate IT Operations Room equipment weekly to ensure inventory accuracy. Serve as backup contact for Level 1 support. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years of IT experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong time management skills with the ability to meet assigned deadlines. Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Education in IT Support or a related field. Highly Desired Inventory Management experience. eye
