- Service Desk Technician (Hybrid/Remote | Contract)
- Overview
- We are seeking a customer-focused
- Service Desk Technician
- to provide technical support across a large, distributed enterprise environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong
- help desk background
- who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment and is passionate about delivering excellent end-user service. You will support a wide range of users across multiple locations, assisting with day-to-day technical issues and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide
- remote technical support
- for a large user base across multiple sites
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- Windows 10/11 operating systems
- Microsoft 365 (O365) applications
- Network connectivity and email access
- Handle a variety of support requests including:
- Password resets
- Account access issues
- Software and hardware troubleshooting
- Document and manage tickets using a
- ticketing and remote access system
- Maintain adherence to call center/service desk metrics
- , including:
- Call handling time
- Availability
- Ticket resolution timelines
- Assist with occasional
- hardware-related projects
- as needed
- Deliver a high level of
- customer service
- in every interaction
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a
- help desk or service desk environment
- 2+ years supporting:
- Windows 10/11 environments
- Microsoft Office 365
- Experience working in a
- high-volume or call center-based IT support environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with:
- Ticketing systems and remote support tools (e.g., Ivanti or similar)
- ACD/call routing systems
- Exposure to supporting large, distributed user environments
- Familiarity with enterprise applications
- Work Environment
- Primarily remote role
- (after initial onboarding)
- Must reside within the designated region to be eligible
- Collaborative team environment (approximately 10 service desk technicians)
- Fast-paced, metrics-driven support setting

- This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
