Software Support Analyst II

The Software Support Analyst provides consultation, support and resolution of client problems in the use of the Skyward application software to ensure that client needs and information requirements are met. They provide mid-level knowledge of the Skyward software applications to interface with outside agencies and to identify requirements for application modifications. They develop training curriculum and deliver training to end users and other staff. The Software Support Analyst's greatest asset is the ability to communicate with others and to develop and maintain relationships to further enhance the customer experience.

Full Job Description Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Education, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or other related field, or equivalent education and work experience which provides the skills, knowledge, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. WSP/FBI criminal history background clearance.

Highly preferred:

Experience working with Skyward School Management Software or Qmlativ as a district user Software-related customer support experience Experience working in an educational environment Employment Conditions and Benefits 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday, 260 days per year. The starting pay is set at 90% of the full salary range until proficiency is achieved. At 90%, the salary ranges from $91,915.20 to $103,480. Once proficiency is reached, pay increases to 100% of the salary range, which is $102,128.00 to $114,982.40. Work is performed in an office environment, however, approximately 50 percent of this time may be spent working at the various school district locations. Routine travel is required to visit local school districts as well as for workshops and conferences. Sitting for extended periods of time working at a computer terminal is common. Lifts and carries a maximum of 15 pounds. Adequate manual and finger dexterity, hearing, speech and vision are necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. This position is telecommute-eligible per Policy 5225.

Potential hazards are present based on the fact that the position requires the incumbent to travel a significant amount.
