POSITION PROFILE
Zephyr is seeking a team player with high personal standards, energy, integrity, and a strong dedicated work ethic to contribute new ideas and perspectives to enhance our exciting growth process. The Technical Support Specialist will skillfully communicate via phone calls and/or email with each customer to understand the issue with kitchen appliances, offer troubleshooting, and recommend next course of action including scheduling service calls with our network of service technicians to solve all issues. A successful candidate will have a strong customer focus. technically minded, and mechanically inclined. Location is in our Alameda, CA headquarters but with some work-from-home capabilities.
Position:
Full Time Hourly Wage :
$23-$25/hour, based on qualifications & experience.
Schedule :
Monday-Friday:
8:00am to 5:00pm
PST DUTIES 1
) Answer phone calls and emails related, but not exclusively to technical product support, part requests, product information, specifications and installation questions. 2) Manage service calls that include contacting the customer, diagnosing problems, assigning a repair service company, sending parts and following up with the customer. 3) Recruit additional repair service companies throughout our sales territories. 4) Accept any additional responsibilities as directed by the immediate supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS 1
) Having a mechanical background and hands on job experience from the appliance or building industry is strongly encouraged. 2) Must be detail-oriented, a fast learner with strong communication skills and skilled on handling all types of customer phone calls and situations in a professional and courteous manner. 3) Customer service experience in a related field such as the appliance industry or related field is a place. 4) BA or BS degree in Business Administration, and/or related fields is a plus but not required. 5) Must be proficient in Microsoft office
