Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Technology & Media Coordinator oversees the church's audio/visual and livestream systems. This part-time role ensures reliable, high-quality worship experiences for both in-person and virtual attendees and provides leadership in equipment maintenance, upgrades, and technology planning.

Principle Responsibilities:

1. Sunday Service Oversight a. Operate or supervise A/V and Zoom systems during services, including management of hearing assist devices b. Ensure livestream quality and audio clarity c. Troubleshoot technical issues in real time d. Check scripts as needed and report issues to the Church Administrator e. Manage equipment security, including community room laptop 2. A/V System Management a. Maintain and organize all A/V and livestream equipment b. Recommend and coordinate equipment maintenance, including upgrades and repairs c. Maintain necessary software subscriptions and access credentials d. Document relevant workflows and technical procedures 3. Tech Team Leadership & Coordination a. Train, coordinate, and schedule Sunday Tech Hosts (or volunteers) b. Coordinate Tech Team meetings or otherwise facilitate team communication as needed c. Provide or arrange technical coverage for movie nights, funerals, weddings and other special events 4. Other Administrative & Operational Support a. Attend monthly Program Committee meetings b. Attend board or other committee meetings upon need or request c. Advise church leadership regarding technology & media needs d. Collaborate with the Engagement Team as needed to support virtual member engagement efforts Relation to

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience with A/V systems and livestream platforms (Zoom preferred) Strong A/V troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and calmly under pressure Organizational and communication skills Alignment with church mission and vision Ability to perform the Technical Host role proficiently
