EAD Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Financials Consultant / Senior Application Support Engineer to join a leading financial services organization in Boston, MA. This role will be part of the Application Support Technology team, providing production support and operational excellence across multiple enterprise SaaS platforms, with primary responsibility for Workday and Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Workday Financials and/or HCM, troubleshooting integrations, managing production incidents, and collaborating with business users, development teams, and third-party vendors to ensure system stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, support, and maintain production applications, integrations, and data pipelines. Troubleshoot application, data, and integration issues across enterprise platforms. Manage and resolve production incidents using ITIL-based support practices. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions. Support user provisioning, access management, and platform administration. Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and vendors to resolve issues and implement enhancements. Assist with application releases, upgrades, and environment maintenance activities. Respond to business data inquiries and operational support requests. Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures. Improve monitoring, automation, and operational support processes. Manage and prioritize support tickets through ServiceNow. Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
5-7+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Enterprise Systems Support. Hands-on experience supporting Workday Financials and/or Workday HCM. Strong experience with Workday integrations, including: EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) Custom Reports Scheduled Processes Experience troubleshooting Workday integration failures, errors, and warnings. Strong incident management and problem-resolution skills. Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production support environment. Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce administration or support experience. Experience with Workday Studio. Familiarity with integration tools and enterprise job schedulers. Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices. Experience with SQL and data analysis. Exposure to AWS cloud technologies. Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau. Financial Services or Investment Management industry experience. Workday Certifications are highly preferred.

Local candidates preferred. Must be able to attend an in-person interview.
Hybrid work model:
3 days onsite in Boston, MA.
