Position Overview:
We are seeking an Application Technical Specialist I to support technology rollout projects in a fast-paced IT operations environment. This role is part of a Technology Rollout Call Center that provides first-level technical support to field technicians, vendors, and contractors implementing hardware and technology solutions across retail locations.

This is not a traditional customer service call center position. The specialist will support technology deployment teams by handling inbound and outbound calls, troubleshooting installation issues, documenting activities, and ensuring project implementation procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to field technicians, vendors, and contractors during technology installations and upgrades. Handle inbound and outbound support calls through a call queue system. Troubleshoot hardware and technology implementation issues. Document incidents, updates, and resolutions in tracking systems. Validate system configurations and project implementation requirements. Communicate project updates via email and Excel-based reporting. Support multiple technology rollout projects simultaneously. Follow established project procedures and escalation processes. Adapt to occasional shift changes based on project requirements and implementation schedules across different time zones. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, call-center-style environment. Ability to work onsite 4-5 days per week. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting IT hardware installations or technology deployments. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Previous experience in technical support, help desk, deployment support, or technology implementation environments.
Pay:
$23.00•$27.00 per hour
