About the
Role:
We're seeking an experienced IT Systems Specialist to oversee and optimize our company's Sage system to improve business processes and ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This role involves collaborating with various departments to streamline workflows, implement best practices, drive strategic initiatives, and best utilize and leverage system resources. The IT Systems Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and ensuring the seamless delivery of services.
What You'll Do:
Manage Sage initiatives and workflows Interface with external resources to implement Sage, and other business system (ShipStation, StarShip, etc.) enhancements Collaborate with teammates to understand challenges related to Sage and facilitate solutions to critical use cases Develop and implement business process strategies that align with company objectives and goals Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization Oversee and implement new processes and create proper documentation and training documents, as well as lead related end-user training Collaborate with department heads to ensure processes are aligned and integrated across the organization Monitor and measure the effectiveness of business processes and adjust as necessary Establish metrics and KPIs to track the performance of business processes and report findings to senior management Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing process management Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Applications, or equivalent work experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in business systems or process management, or similar role Proven experience leading and managing teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High standards in communication, follow-up, responsiveness, documentation, etc., both internally and externally High proficiency in operating business systems Experience with process mapping and modeling tools Knowledge of data analysis and reporting software Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
Preferred Qualifications:
End-to-end ERP implementation experience Experience in the manufacturing or logistics industry Experience with change management and organizational development Strong technical understanding Experience with automation and workflow management tools Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics platforms Understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
