$39,000- 43,000Qualifications:
Associate/BS degree in computer science with two years' experience; High school diploma and three years' experience supporting Windows/Intel based PC's in a networked environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. In depth knowledge of MS Windows, OS, MS Office, and Open Office including the ability to troubleshoot and provide support. Thorough working knowledge of LAN technology Must be able to lift and manage up to 50 lbs. Valid SC driver's license Demonstrated abilities Demonstrated technical aptitude necessary to learn state and district software applications. Ability to work independently and cooperatively to install software, automate applications, and set up hardware in networked environments. Effective written and verbal communication. Responsibilities Provide support for all computer applications in the district Respond to phone calls, emails and personnel requests for technical support; identify, research and resolve technical problems; ensure timely resolution and follow-up Install and perform repairs to hardware, software, peripheral equipment and other IT equipment; basic hardware maintenance Create new images for PC's Act as a resource and resolve problems for all hardware and software Train users in proper use of hardware and software as necessary Assist with installing and maintaining networked hardware and software Assist with maintenance of databases on legacy systems Maintain accurate, detailed and timely support and service recordsPosition Type:
