Job Description

JOB A PC LAN
Specialist II provides desktop and user-level technical support for PCs, laptops, printers, and related equipment. Diagnoses and resolves hardware and software issues, installs and maintains technology assets, and assists with inventory tracking and departmental projects under the supervision of senior technical staff. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Respond to and resolve IT support requests through the helpdesk system Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues Install and configure computer equipment and software Escalate complex issues as appropriate Provide professional customer support in person, by phone, and email Maintain equipment inventory and assist with supply tracking
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects. Positions in this class typically require fingering, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking, repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, climbing, balancing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
