Job Description

Description of Responsibilities The Information Technology (IT) Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to end-users, maintaining IT systems and assisting in the implementation of technology solutions. This position will serve our Tri-Cities locations. Responsibilities of the Information Technology Support Specialist include the following: 1. Provide first-level support for desktop, laptop, printer and mobile devices and support user account management in JumpCloud, Microsoft 365, etc. 2. Assist with onboarding / offboarding tasks such as device setup, email account creation, etc. 3. Assist with hardware and software installations, updates and configurations. Perform routine maintenance on workstations including updates and patching. 4. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues. Coordinate with outside resources for implementation, monitoring, and/or repair in an efficient and timely manner. 5. Help maintain and troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi and VoIP systems under supervision of the Director of Information Technology or his/her designee. 6. Participate in meetings with other individuals and/or departments to address any IT-related matters and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Participate in IT projects including upgrades, migrations and audits. 7. Preserves assets by maintain an accurate inventory hardware records, ensuring reliability and security of IT systems. 8. Team player. Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and operational staff to identify technology needs and solutions. 9. Other projects, activities, or responsibilities assigned at the discretion of the partners or their designee. Minimum Qualifications 1. Pursuing an Associates or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field - prior internship or IT experience is a plus. 2. Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office and networking concepts. 3. Strong problem and communication skills. 4. Ability to work independently and as a part of the team. 5. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. 6. Ability to work a flexible schedule to adjust for work-flow and peak volume times. Physical Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions in this job description: 1. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, as well as talk and hear. 2. Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to lift up to at least 50 pounds.
