IT Support Technician

AccuForce is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to manage the lifecycle of hardware infrastructure for one of our premier clients in Johnson City, TN. From unboxing and imaging new systems to professional cable management and printer networking, you will ensure the team has the reliable tools they need to stay productive.

Compensation:

$50,000•$60,000 (depending on experience)

Schedule:

Monday•Friday (8:00 AM•5:00 PM)

Experience & Requirements Professional Experience:

1-3 years in a dedicated IT Support, Help Desk, or Field Technician role.

Hardware Mastery:

Proven experience unboxing, configuring, and deploying Windows-based workstations and high-volume networked printers.

Infrastructure Skills:

Skilled in physical setup, including rack mounting, professional cable routing (wiring), and peripheral connectivity.

Networking Basics:

Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP as it relates to connecting devices to a corporate network.

Physical Ability:

Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs (servers/printers) and working under desks or in server closets for wiring tasks.

Key Responsibilities Deployment:

Lead the full setup and "imaging" of new computers for employees.

Maintenance:

Troubleshoot and repair hardware failures for PCs, laptops, and printers.

Connectivity:

Manage all physical office wiring (Ethernet/Cat6) to ensure clean, high-speed connections at every desk.

Onboarding:

Walk new hires through their hardware setup and ensure all login credentials and peripherals are working from day one.

Documentation:

Keep an organized inventory of all hardware assets and wiring maps.

Pay:

$50,000.00•$60,000.00 per year
