Computer Repair Technicians

Thrive with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring for Computer Repair Technicians in La Vergne, TN. As a Computer Repair Technician, you will: Be responsible for basic to advanced diagnostics, repair, and testing computer server hardware in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role independently troubleshoots issues, supports process improvement, and ensures high-quality output while meeting production targets. Responsible for independently testing, diagnosing, and repairing server systems in accordance with Production Technician instructions and work instructions to ensure product quality and test integrity. Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of server hardware components (such as: motherboards, CPU's, memory, storage or power supplies) Expect components for proper seating and/or damage As needed, order parts utilizing a tool Accurately document repairs and communicate repair issues, parts usage Perform disassembly or reassembly Support production goals by meeting daily targets Enter repair data into shop floor system in a timely manner Support continuous improvement initiatives Other duties as assigned by management or supervisor This is a full-time, long term contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate must have:

1-2 years or more of experience in a technical or manufacturing environment required (server, notebook, computer, etc.) 6 months-1 year of experience in computer science, electronics or a related technical field is preferred Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Work in a typical manufacturing environment Ability to comply with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to distinguish colors Ability to sit/ stand for long periods of time Ability to stoop/ bend

Pay Rate:
