Job Description
This position is 5 days per week on-site in Powell, TN.
Shift:
Mon-Friday 8am to 5pm + rotating on-call schedule (additional pay provided for on-call work) Description Our client is looking to add a help desk technician to their team. This tech will support healthcare end-users with the client's automated inventory management/charge capture systems as well as some general PC software issues. The system uses RFID technology to monitor inventory levels and track medical device/consumable usage for healthcare providers and integrates the data into providers' existing IT systems. The team gets about 400-500 tickets/month and uses a Salesforce ticketing system. Techs should have a solid understanding of IT basics/fundamentals.Top Skills Required:
Call center experience at a support center or other customer service team. Does not have to be highly technical but candidates must understand IT basics/fundamentals. Customer-first mindset and good communication skills. The end-users for this team do not generally call in upset but they are healthcare providers that expect immediate white-glove service. This means listening to the issue carefully and providing a clear explanation of how to get the product working right. (Candidates must have worked with non-technical end-users.) Initiative and drive to grow, not someone who will sit idle when there is not an active ticket in progress.
