JOB SUMMARY
Assist System Administrator in day-to-day IT operations such as troubleshooting, helpdesk management, and other duties as assigned. Provides support to staff on all company-supported applications. Performs responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and configure workstation computers, monitors, phones and other related hardware. Assist with updating and developing IT procedures and documentation Maintain a ticketing system helpdesk interface for end-users. Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, email, network and peripheral equipment problems. Make repairs and corrections when necessary. Provide maintenance with the telephone system Ensure proper windows networks, file servers, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices and systems. Add or upgrade and configure hard drive, printers and related equipment. Maintain confidentiality regarding the information processed, stored or accessed by the end-user on the network. All other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent Availability of working part-time hours during the week Strong interest in technology and willingness to learn new systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Actively pursuing a degree related to Computer Science, Information Techology, or a related field. Hands-on experience or coursework in computer hardware, software support or networking. Familiarity with basic networking principles and troubleshooting Willingness to learn and grow within a professional IT environment
