Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the autonomous vehicle and transportation industry, is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer to join their team. As a Fleet Support Engineer, you will be part of the Vehicle Development department supporting fleet operations and vehicle reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and meticulous documentation skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

$74/hour + Benefits What's the Job? Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time escalations related to sensor and fleet issues. Conduct in-depth root cause analysis through comprehensive log review to identify and resolve fleet problems. Develop, update, and maintain troubleshooting guides for technicians, incorporating new fault diagnoses and resolutions. Perform hardware bring-up and validation procedures for new sensor components such as LiDAR, radar, and cameras. Design and implement diagnostic procedures to improve troubleshooting efficiency, focusing on sensor calibration and data integrity. What's Needed? Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicle sectors, with a focus on perception systems and sensors. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Experience with low/high voltage circuits, UDS, and safe troubleshooting practices. Understanding of hardware and software system architecture, communication protocols, and operations support. Ability to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts effectively.
