Position Overview
The Technical Support Lead is responsible for overseeing the technical support operations for SAP Commerce implementation projects, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in core Java, Spring, Spring Security, Hybris (SAP Commerce), and coding practices, along with proven experience in technical support environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the technical support team, providing guidance and training as required.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues related to SAP Commerce (Hybris) implementation projects.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues in Java, Spring, and Hybris platforms.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of SAP Commerce solutions.
Monitor system health and proactively address potential bottlenecks or vulnerabilities, especially in Spring Security frameworks.
Document and maintain support procedures, technical solutions, and best practices.
Participate in client meetings and provide technical expertise for ongoing projects.
Ensure compliance with organisational standards and security policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong knowledge in core Java, Spring, Spring Security, Hybris (SAP Commerce), and coding standards.
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support roles in SAP Commerce(Hybris) implementation projects.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a technical team.
Experience in incident management and root cause analysis.

This role serves as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, leveraging expertise in Core Java, Spring, Spring Security, and SAP Commerce to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents. The individual collaborates closely with development, QA, and business teams to ensure seamless application support, effective incident management, and continuous service improvement.
In addition to hands-on technical problem-solving, the SAP Commerce Technical Support Lead mentors support engineers, establishes best practices, and drives root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to provide technical guidance during deployments, upgrades, and ongoing platform enhancements. The ideal candidate combines deep SAP Commerce domain knowledge with a customer-focused mindset to deliver high-quality support and operational excellence.
