IDR is seeking a IT Support Technician to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas . This role supports an enterprise and government environment by providing on-site front-door IT assistance to staff, executives, contractors, and visitors. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot end-user technology, manage service requests, and help ensure reliable collaboration, device readiness, and secure access coordination.
Position Overview for the
IT Support Technician:
Provide on-site front-door IT support for TXCC staff, executives, contractors, and visitors at the San Antonio office
Support laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, conference rooms, printers, network connectivity, and user onboarding/offboarding
Resolve or triage service requests, document activities in the approved ticketing process, and maintain user-facing knowledge articles
Coordinate with systems, network, security, and vendor support teams, and deliver executive-priority support during business hours
Assist with meeting room readiness, video/audio support, staff training, routine technology checks, and break/fix coordination
Requirements for the
IT Support Technician:
8 years of experience providing onsite IT support, desktop support, endpoint support, or field support in an enterprise or government environment
5 years of troubleshooting laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, printers, operating systems, collaboration tools, network connectivity, and user access issues
3 years of supporting Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, mobile device management, endpoint security, or equivalent collaboration and endpoint platforms
3 years of using ticketing, asset inventory, knowledge management, service documentation, and customer communications practices
3 years of supporting executive users, meeting rooms, audio/video collaboration equipment, onboarding, offboarding, and time-sensitive user requests
