QUALIFICATIONS
Must pass a criminal background Fingerprint check upon hire. Must have a valid Texas Drivers license and reliable transportation Education/Certification•High school diploma or GED Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Windows machines, iPads and Apple laptops and iMacs. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications. Knowledge of Mac OS X systems. Ability to follow instructions and procedures. Willingness to learn technical processes or applications. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and department administration. Ability to lift 30-45 lbs, with no issues; ability to bend, kneel, sit
RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, configure, and deploy tablets/ipads, desktops, laptops, and server computers into customer environments Assist with moving IT equipment from one location to another. This requires techs to be able to lift 15-45 lbs with no issues, stoop, bend, sit, and kneel with no issues. Basic hardware & software troubleshooting; responding to Tier I tickets (connectivity and password resets) Provide Tier I Help Desk & Deskside support (majority macOS & some WindowsOS) Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to help and advice to stakeholders that use department services and devices.
