The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software problems, maintaining computer systems, and assisting users with various IT-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for our employees seeking technical assistance via in office, phone and email.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, operating systems, and network connected devices such as printers.
• Assist our employees with common healthcare IT-related problems, including login issues, system performance, printing, device connectivity, and troubleshooting medical equipment.
• Provide initial triage, identify and escalate unresolved issues to senior staff or other specialized personnel.
• Document and track issues in the service desk ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of company-specific IT systems, policies, and procedures.
• Deploy new workstations and peripherals.
• Track and update changes made to IT inventory.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare IT trends, tools, and best practices.
• Travel between our local facilities to provide on-site assistance when needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or IT certifications a plus.
• Previous experience in an IT support or customer service role is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-centric attitude.
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, or Linux operating systems, as well as common software applications (Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting tools a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Current Drivers License and reliable transportation.
