Field Service Technician Location:
Dallas (Travel Required) The Field Service Technician installs equipment, provides onsite maintenance services, and troubleshoots in the field in varying environments. As a main contact person for our customers, the Field Service Technician represents Telios Construction Management (TCM)and must therefore identify closely with the company, products, and clientele. Duties will include but are not limited to: Diagnosing, inspecting, repairing, and servicing rack-mounted UPS systems, self-contained AC units, and controls systems supporting IT enclosures Performing preventative maintenance inspections (on a quarterly basis) on self-contained IT enclosures at multiple client sites Responding to component failures for repair/replacement Performing installations of IT components within enclosures Documenting all onsite activities in TCM software; training will be provided Communicating with client as needed to schedule onsite visits for maintenance and/or repairs Preparing site-required safety documentation for performing onsite work Maintaining site-specific training and safety requirements to ensure access to client sites
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with troubleshooting electrical or HVAC systems Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude Must have the ability to travel 70%, minimum, across the US and Mexico Ability to have flexible work hours to accommodate site access requirements Drug test/background check required Must possess a current/valid driver's license and a good driving record Trade license or education (preferred) Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
