Lead Controls Solutions Specialist SESCO Lighting Inc - 2.9 Dallas, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Systems integration Management Technical documentation Driver's License Mentoring Leading team collaboration initiatives Full Job Description Position Summary The Lead Controls Solutions Specialist serves as the highest-level technical authority for lighting controls within the organization. This role leads complex and strategic projects, provides cross-functional leadership, and is responsible for field support and/or commissioning assistance when required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical expert for lighting control systems and applications. Lead design strategy and execution for large, complex, or high-profile projects. Provide guidance and oversight to all Controls Solutions Specialists. Collaborate with sales leadership on project strategy and opportunity development. Review and approve complex system designs, quotations, and documentation. Act as escalation point for advanced technical and project issues. Lead coordination with manufacturers and key partners. Provide on-site field support, commissioning assistance, and troubleshooting as needed. Develop and deliver advanced training programs for internal and external stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement in controls processes, standards, and tools. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred. 7+ years of experience in lighting controls or building systems. Expert-level knowledge of lighting controls, system integration, and energy codes. Proven leadership and mentoring experience. Strong communication, project management, and decision-making skills. Advanced technical proficiency with controls platforms and documentation tools. Additional Requirements Must be willing and able to travel to job sites for field support. Valid driver's license required. Proof of current auto insurance must be maintained and provided to the company.
