Free Parking Available Position Summary We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to support the management, tracking, lifecycle administration, and compliance of enterprise IT assets. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient utilization of hardware and software assets while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with IT Asset Management processes and ServiceNow Asset Management modules, including both Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM). This position plays a key role in reducing operational inefficiencies, improving asset visibility, and supporting cost optimization initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities Manage the complete lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets from procurement through retirement. Maintain accurate asset inventories and ensure asset records are current and compliant. Track asset utilization and support asset optimization initiatives. Administer and support ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) processes. Conduct asset audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system records. Collaborate with IT teams, procurement, and business stakeholders to ensure proper asset governance. Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and organizational asset management policies. Generate reports and metrics related to asset inventory, utilization, lifecycle status, and compliance. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to IT asset management processes and controls. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) . Strong understanding of IT hardware and software asset lifecycle processes. Experience managing enterprise asset inventories and compliance activities. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in large enterprise environments. Knowledge of software licensing compliance and audit processes. Familiarity with ITIL best practices and IT service management processes. ServiceNow certifications related to Asset Management are a plus.
