Frisco, TX Job Details 15 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Enterprise software PDM software Software implementation Implementing IT solutions Cross-functional communication Product lifecycle management Full Job Description About the role As a Technical Support Specialist III , you'll take on a leadership role in delivering Production Development Systems upgrades and implementations. You'll oversee project execution, guide solution development, and act as a key technical resource for both customers and internal teams. This role blends hands-on technical work with team leadership. You'll support complex implementations, resolve escalated challenges, and ensure high-quality delivery while helping Level I and II team members grow their skills. What you'll do Collaborate with customers to understand business needs and recommend best-fit solutions Oversee system blueprinting and proof-of-concept development across projects Review and approve technical specifications created by team members Manage deployment, upgrades, and continuous improvement of PTC software applications Supervise data migration efforts into Windchill environments Oversee system integrations between PTC tools and enterprise platforms Resolve complex technical issues, including escalations from Level II support Interface directly with customer technical teams to support successful execution Ensure quality through oversight of testing, validation, and system performance Create and maintain documentation, including design specifications and user guides Support Windchill system restructuring initiatives such as corporate carve-outs Mentor and coach junior team members while contributing to team development What you'll bring
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in MCAD and PLM environments, including implementation and services delivery Strong experience working with PTC Windchill and related tools Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues independently Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred:
Experience with PTC product suite (Windchill, Creo, etc.) Advanced education or relevant certifications Who thrives here You take ownership of complex projects and see them through to completion You're the person others rely on to solve the toughest technical challenges You can guide both customers and teammates with clarity and confidence You balance hands-on technical work with mentoring and knowledge sharing You communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences Work setup Remote-first with a professional home workspace required Participation in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Some travel required, including occasional international trips for customer engagements, training, and team collaboration
