Frisco, TX Job Details 15 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Software implementation Enterprise solutions implementation System design for system development Implementing IT solutions Design (software development lifecycle) Product lifecycle management Full Job Description About the role As a Technical Support Specialist II, you'll take on a more independent role in delivering Production Development Systems upgrades and implementations for customers. You'll collaborate directly with clients, contribute to system design, and support the deployment and optimization of PTC solutions including Windchill, Creo, and related tools. This role is designed for professionals who are ready to move beyond support tasks into deeper technical ownership, contributing to project execution while mentoring junior team members. What you'll do Collaborate directly with customers to understand business needs and technical requirements Participate in system blueprinting and development of proof-of-concept solutions Write technical specifications based on functional requirements Deploy, upgrade, and continuously improve PTC software applications Support data migration from legacy systems into Windchill Assist with splitting Windchill systems to support corporate carve-outs Integrate PTC software with other enterprise systems Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution Interface with customer technical teams to ensure successful delivery Develop documentation including design specifications and user guides Support testing and validation of configurations and customizations to ensure quality and accuracy Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and escalate issues as needed What you'll bring
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience Experience working with MCAD and PLM systems in solution design, implementation, or services delivery Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret technical documentation
Preferred:
Hands-on experience with PTC products (Windchill, Creo, or related tools) Who thrives here You're comfortable taking ownership of technical work and driving tasks forward independently You enjoy working directly with customers and translating business needs into technical solutions You can manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously without losing attention to detail You're a strong communicator who can explain complex concepts clearly You're collaborative and enjoy mentoring or supporting less experienced team members Work setup Remote-first role with a professional, distraction-free home workspace required Participation in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Some travel required, including potential international trips for customer engagements, training, and team collaboration
