This tech should be professional and able to work well with others. Duties will consist of installing, maintaining and repairing computers and networks. Techs must be well-versed in computer systems and network functions. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately, will possess a great problem-solving ability to fix issues, and will ensure complete system functionality before closing each ticket. Tech will spend most of his time out of office and in the field. Job duties include but are not limited to: Maintaining a clean and neat appearance for a professional environment Install, assemble, and configure computers, monitors, printers, and other related hardware. Troubleshoot problems with computer systems including hardware, software, e-mail, network and printer equipment problems. Make repairs and corrections where required. Complete cable runs and terminate heads for network, audio, and video cables when necessary Act as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data; staffs a centralized help desk to facilitate an exchange of information and advice; implements solutions or notifies upper management as required. Administer all IT hardware - Computers, printers, drive-thru systems, switches, routers, and other general networking equipment. Apply software patches / upgrades and respond to user requests as needed. Requirements Associate's Degree or IT certifications Valid Driver's License Basic understanding of switches, routers and TCP/IP networking Familiarity with Windows 10 and Office 365 applications Ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot tough problems, sometimes without assistance from others Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a business environment Excellent organizational skills and teamwork capabilities Ability to learn quickly and adapt Familiarity with a variety of the IT concepts, practices, and procedures related to technology operations Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of PC hardware installation, repair, testing, and troubleshooting Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills Ability to climb ladders Ability to lift 50 lbs Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance. 401(K) with a company match.
