Job Description:

IT Infrastructure Engineer Pay $100,000 - $120,000 per year Location Irving, Texas (HQ) - 100% On-site Summary Seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to lead the evaluation, design, and implementation of network and cloud infrastructure solutions for a rapidly growing organization. You will play a vital role in standardizing technology across multiple acquired companies, ensuring seamless transition to cloud platforms, and building secure, reliable network systems. With a dynamic team operating like a start-up within an established multi-billion-dollar company, this role offers significant growth opportunities and the chance to impact multiple business units. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles Strong knowledge of networking, including Cisco or Fortinet firewalls, routing, and configuration Experience in setting up and configuring Fortinet firewalls and switches, access points, and ISP services Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, Office 365, and Windows Server administration Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation tasks Active Directory expertise and experience migrating on-prem systems to Azure AD and Point Online Familiarity with virtualization and server systems Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Deployment experience with VoIP or collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams is a plus Responsibilities Evaluate the current infrastructure of acquired companies and develop standardized processes Design and implement network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and cabling Lead migration projects from on-premises systems to Azure cloud, including AD and data transfer Configure and maintain network equipment, including Fortinet devices and access points Collaborate with MSPs to understand existing support systems and optimize infrastructure Develop and train staff on new infrastructure protocols and systems onboarding Support security and compliance through firewall and network configuration Document all projects, network diagrams, and procedures Assist with cabling, rack setup, and hardware deployment for network systems Standardize systems across multiple companies to streamline operations Benefits Significant growth potential in a company with steady revenue expansion, from $350 million to over $3 billion Opportunity to shape infrastructure standards across multiple organizations Collaborative, innovative team environment modeled after a start-up Leadership opportunities in building out processes for acquired companies Competitive compensation package and a chance to make a major impact within a well-established organization that has thrived through economic downturns
