Full Job Description Job Description/Summary:
The Entry Level Laptop Technician will be responsible for providing computer diagnostics and repairs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily Responsibilities The primary responsibility of a computer technician is to diagnose and repair laptops. Perform tasks such as installation, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of computers. Manually examine and repair computer hardware and peripheral components. Take apart and re-assemble computer components and parts. Analyze failed equipment according to established methods or procedures and determine whether the equipment is repairable Resolve hardware technical issues within time schedule and provide the break and fix solution using an in-house system Perform other duties as assigned. Warehouse Efficiencies Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communications at all levels. Keeps warehouse organized and clean at all times. Team Building/Leadership Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the company's culture. Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates. Education and/or Experience; 1 Year experience on CompTIA+ A+ Certification Experience with proper teardown & reassembly of laptops and netbooks Final Testing & Software Load Hardware diagnosis and repair Multi-part repair and replacement Experience in a production-based environment Strong Operating Systems troubleshooting knowledge and software loads Working knowledge in repairing all OEM's Hardware failure diagnosis & repair
Essential Skills:
The job requires the ability to clearly organize and categorize work priorities to complete your work. Critical analysis and complex problem solving Requires demonstrated ability to read and follow written instructions and ideas. Job requires the repeated and coordinated use of your hands, wrists, and fingers to use a computer keyboard, and other small handheld tools. Must be goal-oriented and accustomed to achieving results through teamwork. Needs the ability to reach daily Units p/Hour metrics - Minimum KPI Standards of 1.50 or above (able to meet within 90 days of employment).

Employees must be able to lift objects approximately up to 25 pounds. Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment.
