Associate Help Desk Specialist Location:
Houston, Texas (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking talented professionals to provide efficient and customer-focused technical support in a dynamic environment. Our team delivers essential front-line technical assistance to end users, ensuring smooth operation and prompt resolution of issues across multiple IT systems.
Responsibilities:
Deliver first-level technical support via phone and email, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues. Install and configure software applications and collaborate with IT teams on hardware and software deployments. Report, track, and document technical support interactions and ongoing issues using the ticketing system, ensuring accurate and timely resolution. Contribute to knowledge base documentation, participate in IT projects, and support flexible scheduling including after-hours and on-call duty.
Required:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required; a minimum of a high school diploma or GED is mandatory for consideration. 1-2 years of technical support experience, including phone-based troubleshooting for end users. 1-2 years of experience supporting networks and related systems, with understanding of Local Area Networks (LAN) & Wide Area Networks (WAN). Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills, and willingness to support after-hours, weekend, and holiday schedules as needed.
