Job Title:
IT Computer Operator (Overnight Shift)

Month Contract Pay Rate:
$26.00/hr on W-2
Shift:
10:15 PM 6:15 AM (Overnight). Days off will most likely be mid-week.
Note:
As a 24/7 data center, this role requires working weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather. Position Overview We are seeking an IT Computer Operator to monitor, control, and support our global data center operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing worldwide organization systems, managing batch balancing, and utilizing software like Omega OCM and cloud platforms. You will serve as a key point of contact for identifying, escalating, and resolving system alerts and support calls from global users, vendors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control worldwide computer systems, batch balancing, and peripheral cloud/software components. Identify, engage, and resolve system alerts and infrastructure issues. Provide front-line support for calls and inquiries from internal global users and external vendors. Execute commands, programs, and scripts to maintain system priorities and load adjustments.
Technical Skills & Qualifications Operating Systems:
Advanced knowledge and high proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems (commands, programs, and scripting).
Experience:
Minimum of 6 months of related IT infrastructure, data center, or technical support experience/training.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Software:
Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word).
Core Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities for both hardware and software, clear documentation skills, and excellent verbal/written communication. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly stand, walk, crouch, stoop, and push/pull equipment carts. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
