Description :
Job Summary The Coordinator of Digital Customer Service assists prospective and current students with all matters related to acquiring and maintaining financial by creating engaging digital content to disseminate financial aid information over various institutions and social media platforms. Duties Participates and collaborates in outreach activities and special events planning Creates appropriate, engaging content for social media that promotes financial aid information, events, initiatives, and services Engages and responds to inquiries/comments on various platforms in a timely manner Develops strategies to increase followership and engagement Stays current on social media trends to maintain a competitive and relevant edge for UHD's Financial Aid Office Meets with supervisor to review upcoming events and social media posting schedule Marginal Duties Performs all other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field
Required Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of related job experience

Preferred Qualifications None Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge:
General knowledge in creating content through video, images, and other digital media Knowledge of the financial aid process in a higher education environment and of the related trends, issues, and practices
Skills:
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with the public Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills Content Curation Aptitude to learn
Abilities:
Ability to manage a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram Ability to produce accurate data and information Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
Work Location and Physical Demands Primary Work Location:
Works in an office environment
Physical Demands:
Work is performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements; individual has discretion in relation to walking, standing etc., and has minimal exposure to physical risks.
