Location:
Houston, TX We are seeking experienced Desktop Technicians to join our team for a large-scale deployment project. As a Desktop Technician, you will play a key role in setting up and configuring computer equipment, ensuring that all systems are properly installed, tested, and functioning as expected.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, image, and configure computer equipment, including computers, monitors, and printers Set up workstations, ensuring that all necessary hardware and software components are properly installed and configured Perform cable management tasks to ensure a safe and organized working environment Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the deployment process Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all equipment is properly installed and configured
Technical Requirements:
Experience with Windows 11 operating system, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Familiarity with Active Directory, including user account management and group policy configuration Strong understanding of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, monitors, and printers Ability to work with various software applications, including Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
Work Environment:
Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience as a Desktop Technician or similar role High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Computer Science or related field preferred Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
