Compensation:
$5,000 monthly The Abbie Kamin for Harris County Attorney team is seeking a Digital Engagement Coordinator to build out our Communications Team. This role reports to the Campaign Manager and works to create digital content, grow our audience, and effectively disseminate campaign messaging strategy across digital platforms. The Digital Engagement Coordinator will work with the campaign manager. Responsibilities Develop digital and social media content aligned with FDP's communications and electoral goals. Create high-quality digital content, including graphics, short-form video, and written copy. Support campaign volunteers, in-person events, and GOTV efforts with thoughtfulness and enthusiasm Analyze digital performance using platform analytics and reporting tools, and adjust strategy based on data and insights. Coordinate digital campaigns, virtual events, and influencer partnerships to expand reach and engagement. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the campaign cycle Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. 1-2 years of experience managing digital or social media strategy, preferably in political campaigns, advocacy organizations, or mission-driven nonprofits. Strong writing and editing skills with an understanding of tone, message discipline, and audience targeting. Experience with design and video tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms. Familiarity with social media analytics, reporting, and performance optimization.
