401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the organization's IT systems, infrastructure, and applications. This role ensures optimal system performance, security, and user satisfaction through effective troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Duties/Responsibilities Provide onsite technical support, including hardware installation, equipment repair, network infrastructure maintenance, and software deployment. Deliver support to internal users via in-person and remote assistance. Respond to service desk tickets, diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently. Administer Active Directory, including user account management, permissions, and group policies. Manage endpoint devices to ensure proper configuration, maintenance, and compliance with security standards. Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and lifecycle tracking. Ensure adherence to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all support requests. Support banking core and related applications, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance. Develop and maintain clear and comprehensive IT documentation for processes and procedures. Perform user onboarding and offboarding, ensuring appropriate provisioning and deprovisioning of system access. Manage and apply system patches and updates across workstations, servers, and applications. Collaborate with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to support IT infrastructure operations. Participate in the implementation of new technology projects and system enhancements. Provide end-user training and promote best practices for IT usage and security. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Foundational knowledge of computer systems, PC hardware troubleshooting, and basic network management. Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and VMware is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and other core productivity tools. Familiarity with Meraki switches and Palo Alto firewalls is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and effectively troubleshoot complex or critical technical issues. Ability to deploy, configure, and support Windows operating systems across desktop environments, as well as mobile platforms (iOS and Android). Understanding of information security principles and best practices related to systems and end-user devices. Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service, with the ability to prioritize tasks while balancing stakeholder needs, timelines, and budget considerations. Education and Experience Associate's degree in computer information science or higher preferred. Specialized training or certifications in PC repair, computer software/hardware applications, or network administration is strongly preferred. At least one year of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing computers and peripherals. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Requires employee to stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
