• video, phone, chat, email Prepare technical reports on data security and risk analysis Maintain technology upgrades and provide recommendations on new software and tools to increase client retention as well as meet office goals Provide both staff and clients with support on IRS tools as well as other tax tools Mentor and support teammates in use of all office programs Provide office staff with trainings monthly on new applications and software Maintain maintenance logs including but not limited to the annual WISP What you'll bring to the team… Experience in software development or technology support Experience working in a fast-paced environment Ease and comfort working with virtual tools•video, phone and chat Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing Successful completion of the H&R Block Technical Support knowledge assessment Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements High school diploma / equivalent or higher It would be even better if you also had… Bachelor's degree in computer science, accounting or related field Experience completing complex returns Experience conducting virtual interviews Technical support experience About H&R Block.
