Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, headsets, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, VoIP, and user access issues
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Mac based workstations and common business applications
- Support employees in a high-volume call center and sales environment with timely issue resolution
- Set up new employee equipment, user accounts, and system access
- Assist with password resets, email troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 support, and conferencing tools
- Respond to help desk tickets and document resolutions in the ticketing system
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and preventative maintenance
- Support conference room technology, phones, and office equipment as needed
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while working in a security-conscious precious metals environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree, technical certification, or coursework in Information Technology preferred
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and computer hardware
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment
- Reliable transportation and ability to work fully onsite in
Leander, TX Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Slack, NetSuite, or HubSpot is a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory preferred
- Experience supporting users in a call center, sales, or customer service environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and office networking equipment
- CompTIA A+ certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred
