Help Desk / Infrastructure Support Technician Plano, TX | Full-Time | 100% Onsite Seeking a hands-on Help Desk / Infrastructure Support Technician to support internal users, engineering teams, and mission-critical infrastructure environments.
This role focuses on desktop support, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking troubleshooting, and infrastructure support within a highly technical enterprise hardware and data center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 1 / Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, conference room systems, and internal applications
Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 environments and basic Linux issues
Support Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive
Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and password resets
Troubleshoot VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, wireless, and remote access issues
Configure, image, deploy, and track end-user hardware
Support engineering labs, OEM hardware environments, and infrastructure operations
Assist with rack-and-stack activities, hardware swaps, diagnostics, and basic data center support
Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates within the help desk system
Required Experience:
2-5 years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Infrastructure Support experience
Strong Windows desktop troubleshooting skills
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments
Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently
Must be able to work onsite in
Plano, TX Preferred Experience:
Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless troubleshooting
Basic Linux administration or troubleshooting
Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, OEM, or data center environments
Exposure to enterprise server hardware and infrastructure operations
Experience with imaging tools, hardware diagnostics, and asset management systems
CompTIA A+, Network+, or related certifications preferred
