The ideal candidate demonstrates basic soldering ability — such as HDMI port replacement on a gaming console — and is eager to grow beyond that foundation. Steve's Computer Repair offers a structured, paid three-tier soldering training program. As you complete each level, you advance to the next — allowing you to build professional-grade skills on the job.

Responsibilities Soldering & Component Repair:

Port-level soldering and board-level repairs; advanced training provided

Computer Repair:

OS reloads, drive cloning, virus removal, BIOS and driver updates, hardware troubleshooting

Customer Service:

Customer intake, phone communication, quote building, diagnostic explanations, and recommending appropriate solutions including new or refurbished systems

Networking:

Basic networking knowledge required; nothing advanced Requirements

• Basic soldering ability (port-level minimum)
• Working knowledge of computer repair fundamentals
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Professional, positive attitude — this is a firm requirement
• A+ Certification or equivalent is a plus, but not required
