Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce's client in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical support within an enterprise environment. This role focuses on supporting end users with hardware, software, and basic IT services while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on and remote support for end-user devices and workplace technology
  • Assist with device setup, configuration, and deployment activities
  • Support escalated technical issues and follow troubleshooting processes
  • Document issues and resolutions in internal systems
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve recurring issues
  • Deliver a strong customer experience, including support for high-visibility users
  • Assist with asset tracking and inventory management
  • Contribute to maintaining documentation and support processes
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience providing desktop or IT support in a professional environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software issues
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users
  • Familiarity with modern operating systems and common workplace tools
  • Experience supporting enterprise devices such as laptops, peripherals, and mobile equipment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
