Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Helpdesk Technician is responsible for answering helpdesk calls, troubleshooting computers, applications, network and printer issues, assign helpdesk tickets for further response, assist with walk-ins and scheduled appointments, laptop and cell phone assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Answers helpdesk calls, monitors help desk queue, troubleshoots computers, network and printer issues; processes and maintains access requests; assists with access to network resources. Responds to requests for assistance based on assigned tickets. Provides assistance with walk-ins. Issues and provides training for laptops and cell phones. Assists in preparation of equipment and images. Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalency , AND One (1) year experience in desktop and helpdesk support on Windows platform Extensive application support experience with MS Office Suite and knowledge of networking protocol including TCP/IP Exceptional customer service orientation Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Licenses or Certifications None Other Requirements Must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Company's auto insurance carrier if you drive your vehicle during company business. Must maintain required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Microsoft Certification:
MCP, MCSA, MS
Office Suite. A+, Network Plus, Security Plus. Experience in Computer Information Systems, network communications, or related fields. Experience in a health care environment, preferably a community MHMR setting.

Performing basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios. Troubleshooting .

Maintain accurate and complete records. Maintain the confidentiality of information and professional boundaries. Meet schedules and deadlines of the work. Understand and carry out oral and written directions. Work with other departments and agencies.
