Job Description

Support Analyst Office Location Seguin Customer Service Center 927 N TX 46 Seguin, Texas 78155 What We Are Looking For GVEC is looking to hire you for the position of Support Analyst to deliver the unexpected with a willingness to continuously develop yourself, your department, and our organization. As a Support Analyst, you will perform end-user troubleshooting, maintenance of computer assets, Wi-Fi, antivirus platforms, AV equipment, basic Active Directory administration and management of applicable projects. You will need to be comfortable working on laptops running Windows and MacOS, virtual machines, mobile devices, VoIP endpoints and connected networks. This role is great for someone with a broad knowledge of end-user technologies and willing to expand their knowledge in a team centric professional environment. Your Pay The minimum starting pay for this role is $25.00/hr plus bonuses that are tied to a multitude of organizational benchmarks set forth annually. Pay will be determined by skills, qualifications and experience. How You'll Help Provide IT support and troubleshooting for all office and field personnel with rotating help desk shifts Interact with GVEC employees over the phone, in person or via messaging to bring resolution to reported issues Install, monitor and support various end-user devices Install and maintain shared and personal printers Coordinate with vendors and service providers to maintain software licensing and hardware warranties for all end-user devices and printers Manage IT inventory of laptops, monitors, PCs, virtual clients, printers, desk phones, mobile phones, tablets, tools and cabling Maintain images for laptop deployments Build and maintain Virtual Desktop golden images, dedicated machines and automated pools Configure and deploy VoIP devices Troubleshoot audio-visual equipment and recommend replacements as necessary Monitor antivirus platforms and remediate when needed Provide Active Directory password resets and workstation onboarding to the domain Provide support for the execution of special projects Experience/Skills You'll Need Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently Excellent problem-solving skills - able to effectively troubleshoot minor issues independently Demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Able to work independently with impeccable sense of integrity Team player with the resolve to provide and take constructive criticism that helps evolve the team Ability to lift items such as printers, desktop computers and monitors Preferred Experience/Skills 1+ year of professional experience in a technical support role Associate degree in computer science or relevant field Experience with desktop imaging Experience with VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Experience with Windows 10 and MacOS support Knowledge of QuickBooks, Nitro PDF and Microsoft Office Products Our Purpose and Culture GVEC proudly provides Electric, Internet, HVAC, Solar and Battery Storage, and Electrician services in and around South-Central Texas.
