Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a bright, motivated Shipping and Production Associate to join a growing production team in Sugar Land, TX!

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be a vital member of the production team, responsible for both high-level shipping operations and technical conformal coating of electronics. This is a versatile, "hands-on" position where you will manage the full lifecycle of outgoing shipments—including international freight—while also becoming a subject matter expert in automated and manual coating processes. You will work closely with the production team, flexing between warehouse logistics and technical assembly support to ensure mission-critical products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Management:

Manage all shipping activities, including scheduling pickups, printing packing lists from MAX, and creating labels for major carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

International Coordination:

Handle specialized shipping requirements and documentation for international freight.

Technical Coating:

Perform conformal coating of electronics by hand and by programming automated Specialty Coating Systems (SCS) machinery.

Quality & Rework:

Establish best practices for conformal coating production and perform detailed rework on boards with quality issues.

Warehouse Operations:

Manage shipping supply inventory, pack computers/parts for shipment, maintain accessory boxes, and supervise carrier pickups.

Administrative Tracking:

Maintain end-of-day reports, calculate freight costs for sales orders, and ensure all activities comply with AS9100 and

ISO 9001

quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

3+ years of professional experience in shipping and warehouse operations.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Technical Aptitude:

Ability to learn complex machinery programming and perform delicate manual electronics rework.

Compliance Knowledge:

Demonstrated ability to work within strict Quality Manual, System Level Procedures (SLP), and Work Instructions (WI) frameworks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a strong team player who is "highly motivated" and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate has prior experience with FedEx or other major shipping systems and possesses some international shipping knowledge. You should be equally comfortable managing high-volume logistics as you are performing precision technical work on a production line.
