Job Description

Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to support core business activities in Sugar Land, TX!
Position Overview:
In this role, you will perform critical activities necessary to verify the quality of high-performance products and services. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electro-mechanical assemblies, including PCBAs, cables, and metal parts, meet stringent engineering drawings and IPC standards. This is a vital position within the QA department that requires a commitment to absolute ownership and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Visual Inspection:
Conduct thorough visual inspections of parts (PCBA, cables, and metal) for conformance to engineering drawings and IPC standards.
Documentation:
Accurately document all inspection results to maintain quality records.
Process Support:
Assist with the Non-conformance Report (NCR) process and participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings as required.
Quality Compliance:
Conduct all work activities in a manner that supports the Quality Manual, Quality Policy, and established Work Instructions (WI).
Operational Support:
Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure departmental objectives are met.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of one year of experience as a QC/QA Inspector of electro-mechanical assemblies.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of personal computers and the ability to interpret technical engineering drawings.
Standards Knowledge:
Familiarity with IPC standards and good manufacturing practices.
