IT System Specialist II

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT infrastructure, software troubleshooting, and customer service. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work with various operating systems, including Windows and Mac OS. As a Senior IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing exceptional support to our users. Duties Provide advanced technical support for hardware and software issues across various platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to computer networking, operating systems, and applications. Manage help desk operations, ensuring timely responses to user inquiries and issues. Collaborate with team members to maintain and enhance IT infrastructure. Document technical procedures and create user guides for reference. Assist in the implementation of new technologies and upgrades within the organization. Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions. Utilize tools such as Remedy for tracking incidents and managing service requests. Requirements Proven experience in an IT support role with a focus on customer service. Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems. Proficiency in computer networking principles and practices. Experience with software troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with help desk operations and ticketing systems such as Remedy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
