Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Computer Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure! In this energetic role, you will provide essential technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure seamless computer management across various operating systems. Your expertise will help keep our systems secure, efficient, and reliable, empowering our organization to operate at peak performance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while making a tangible impact on daily operations. Duties Responds to support requests via multiple sources such as personal visits, phone, email, and helpdesk tickets. Troubleshoots problems and evaluates multiple options to resolve user problems. Researches trouble issues and implements solutions. Escalates when necessary. Documents incident/problem status and resolution in the helpdesk system. Alerts team members about recurring problems. Documents solutions to common problems and responses to frequently asked questions. Communicates updates on issues in a timely manner to ensure user satisfaction and productivity. Configures and installs desktop PCs, peripheral equipment, laptops and other devices. Interacts with users in a courteous and professional manner. May provide on-the-spot training to users.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewall management, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues Proficiency in managing computer hardware components and performing software troubleshooting across multiple platforms Knowledge of IT support tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira for incident tracking and resolution management Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are preferred but not required Embark on a rewarding journey where your technical expertise drives operational excellence!
