AWESOME HELP DESK TECH!
Growing Tech Company!! As a Help Desk Technician, you will play an integral role in the support of our rapidly growing technology company's partners and clients. Through your work, you will interact with clients, solve technical issues via remote control, learn about technical bench work and provide exceptional customer service. Your work will enable our field service personnel to optimize their time at client sites. Your ultimate responsibility is to promote extreme customer satisfaction to our clients through customer service, helpfulness, and technical knowledge. This position is a great entry level opportunity for that person who wants to build a technology-oriented career, is technically curious, and who has excellent customer service and communication skills. Job Duties Serve as the first point of contact for a client seeking technical assistance in email, chat, or over the phone. Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions Determine the best solution based on the issue, and details provided by the client. Walk the client through the problem-solving process Direct Unresolved Issues to Field Support Record Events, Problems, Resolutions, and Time in PSA Ticket Tracking Follow up with customers to report issue status and information Identify and suggest possible improvements to the helpdesk process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The ability to perform IT troubleshooting on PCs running Windows 10, 11, and Mac, printers, windows servers, and Microsoft 365. Clear understanding of basic office technology like printers, copiers, and telephones.
Interpersonal skills:
such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care. Ability to keep yourself organized and on-task. Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of prospect information. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment Ability to keep up on necessary ongoing industry related training Ability to perform remote support and resolve client issues.
Technical Knowledge:
Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac Basic Understanding of computer networking Familiarity with Windows Server Familiarity with Microsoft 365 PREFERENCE
WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES WHO
Have demonstrable customer service experience Have demonstrable technical support experience Who have taken the INDEED proficiency test for this position.
