Daily local travel using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided) Job Overview We are seeking a Senior IS Technician to provide field-based IT support for retail locations throughout Utah. This is a hands-on role responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining computer hardware, printers, networking equipment, and related technology systems. This position requires daily travel to multiple locations, strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently. Candidates must be comfortable driving between sites, responding to service calls, and supporting critical technology infrastructure in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices Install, configure, and replace computer hardware and networking equipment Perform device imaging, deployment, and basic configuration Complete preventative maintenance and technology refresh projects Troubleshoot network connectivity and cabling issues Respond to service requests and resolve hardware-related incidents Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and service activities Provide professional customer support to store personnel and end users Travel daily between multiple retail locations throughout assigned territory Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation for critical system outages Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2-5 years of hands-on IT support experience Experience troubleshooting and repairing PC hardware Experience supporting printers and peripheral devices Basic networking and cabling experience Experience with device imaging and deployment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Preferred Qualifications Field Service Technician experience Retail technology support experience Desktop Support or Hardware Technician background Experience supporting POS systems Knowledge of routers, switches, and network infrastructure Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar Work Environment Field-based role supporting multiple retail locations Daily travel throughout Utah Primarily Monday-Friday schedule Occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and approved overtime as business needs require On-call support responsibilities for critical after-hours incidents #
NonVax Pay:
