Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Travel Required:
Daily travel between retail locations using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided) Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Senior IS Technician to provide onsite technical support for retail locations throughout Utah. This is a field-based position that requires daily travel to multiple sites to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain IT equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting computer hardware, printers, networking equipment, and end-user technology in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, traveling extensively, and responding to critical technical issues when needed. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite technical support to retail locations. Troubleshoot and repair desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices. Install, configure, and deploy hardware and technology equipment. Perform device imaging and workstation deployments. Support basic networking equipment and cabling infrastructure. Complete preventative maintenance projects and scheduled upgrades. Respond to service calls and technology incidents in a timely manner. Document work performed and maintain accurate service records. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with store personnel. Participate in after-hours, weekend, holiday, and on-call support as required. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or
GED. 2-5
years of IT support or hardware support experience.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing:
PCs and laptops Printers and peripherals Basic networking equipment Experience with hardware installations and device deployments. Experience with workstation imaging and configuration. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory. Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Field Service Technician experience. Desktop Support or End User Support experience. Retail technology support experience. POS (Point of Sale) support experience. Network cabling experience. CompTIA A+ Certification. CompTIA Network+ Certification. Experience supporting multiple locations. Work Environment Daily travel between retail locations. Some travel may require several hours of driving. Mileage reimbursement provided at the current company reimbursement rate. Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required. On-call support required for urgent store technology issues. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT professional with strong hardware troubleshooting skills, experience supporting end users in the field, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple service calls. NonVax Pay:
