Technical Support Specialist Arlington, VA Job Details $82,900 - $184,500 a year 14 hours ago Qualifications Maintenance inventory management Vendor management Calibration Equipment troubleshooting Bachelor's degree Staff training Vendor relationship management Microsoft Teams Equipment maintenance Systems & applications support Senior level Full Job Description In this role as a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing signal distribution and networking, including AV-over-IP protocols, EDID/HDCP management, and HDBaseT. Your expertise in specialized hardware maintenance and calibration of LED Video Walls will be crucial, as well as your ability to set up and troubleshoot immersive audio systems. Additionally, you will need experience in managing control systems like Crestron, Extron, or Q-SYS, and expert-level administration of Microsoft Teams Rooms for Unified Communications (UC) & Hybrid Tech. Your daily tasks will include conducting system checks, providing event support during Forge experiences and events, training staff on system usage, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of equipment. When technical issues arise, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and coordinating with facility IT around AV issues. You will also manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process for faulty equipment, perform on-site repairs when necessary, and maintain an inventory of equipment. Your role will also involve coordinating with third-party vendors for service and maintenance of AV systems, as well as supporting setup and user engagement with all A/V equipment in the space. Overall, this role requires a candidate with a strong background in signal distribution, networking, and hardware integration, as well as experience in managing AV systems and troubleshooting technical issues. Your ability to work collaboratively with staff, vendors, and IT teams will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of AV systems and providing high-quality support to users.

PTZ Camera Control:
